PLATED & PAIRED AT THE PUBLIC MARKET
Kick off your 2012 Dine Out Vancouver Festival experience with the new event “Plated & Paired at the Public Market” – a rare, after-hours opportunity to taste the best of Granville Island, paired with the Wines of British Columbia.  Guests will enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Market with tantalizing tastes created by Granville Island’s talented chefs, exceptional BC VQA wines and live jazz.

SECRET SUPPER SOIREE
The Secret Supper Sorree was a sold out event last year, Vancouver’s culinary speakeasy tour is back!  Imagine you’re a guest in a 1930′s underground bar, an old English aviator hang-out, or perhaps, a mansion in the hills.  A sommelier serves you refreshing glasses of BC VQA wine. A local chef sizzles up mouth-watering wild BC canapé creations.  Then, you are whisked off to the next hidden locale via classic double decker bus.  This two-act tour is the best way to explore the city’s culinary secrets and tantalize your taste buds!  Dress as fancy as you like! Five courses, four libations, two secret locations.

ACT I, EAT I
The Arts Club Theatre Company pairs the ‘revealing’ true story Calendar Girls with a three-course long table dining experience at Cru Restaurant. When middle-aged Annie Clarke loses her husband to leukemia, her best friends suggest a ‘cheeky’ new way to raise money for research. But their fellow Women’s Institute members balk at baring, well, almost baring, it all! This is bound to be a delightful theatrical dinner pairing event.

STREET FOOD CITY
The much anticipated Street Food City is here. For three days during the Dine Out Vancouver Festival on the north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery, Street Food City is your opportunity to sample from a collection of Vancouver’s Street Food carts all in one convenient location! Gather and feast on delicious food prepared by these vendors. Special Dine Out Vancouver Festival creations and discounts are available.
