The Eastward by Intracorp site is situated in the Grandview Woodland neighbourhood of East Vancouver, at the east corner of East 11th Avenue and Victoria Drive. The site is located two blocks southeast of the Commercial-Broadway Skytrain station and the busy intersection at Commercial Drive and Broadway. To the North of the site there are three- and four-storey apartment buildings plus various other multiplex dwellings. Trout Lake is located several blocks southeast. To the east of the site, a church is located across Victoria Drive with Skytrain tracks situated beyond the church. To the west of the site, there is a four-storey co-op apartment building followed by various single-family homes.
The project site is composed of 8 legal lots, 4 fronting 11th Avenue and 4 fronting Victoria Drive with a small north-south lane dividing the 4 western lots along East 11th Avenue and the lots fronting Victoria Drive. The total site area is 29,112 sf (including the lane area of 1,464 sf)
Intracorp Grandview Woodland has initiated contact with Al Zacharias on September 20, 2016 regarding the purchase of this lane. Intracorp will work with the City of Vancouver departments through the process to ensure delivery of the required documentation to facilitate the lane purchase.
